CoWord is able to convert MS Word (which is only for one user) into a real time, multi-user, collaborative text processor, without having to make any changes to the original Word source code. With CoWord various users in different geographical locations can simultaneously edit the same document via the Internet.



CoWord doesn`t modify the look nor the functionality of Word in any way. There are no restrictions of any type, nor impositions: each user has complete freedom to use CoWord both in a group or alone. The CoWord installation pack includes both the CoWord server and client.
